ABOUT NATALIE

Blending the art of ‘Yes And’ and deeply rooted awareness to inspire personal growth.

A Michigan-native and University of Michigan graduate, Natalie began her yoga journey in 2014 when she transferred to Calgary, Canada for a job that required a unique resilience and adaptability for an intense work-lifestyle. With rigorous demands paired with injuries and lack of support system, Natalie found community through yoga, physical therapy, and working with a personal trainer.

Later Natalie found adventure traveling the world for a gap-year to 18 countries prior to returning to Michigan and discovering the Detroit improv scene and embarking on her 200hr RYT journey at Citizen Yoga.

Yoga and improv gave her tools to express her authentic voice, refine her self-awareness, and define healthier boundaries in her life.

Natalie strongly believes we each have the power to make a difference. She is passionate about using yoga and improv to foster a supportive community wherever she goes and to help others tap into their own personal power and freedom to express their own unique story and point of view. Whether that means showing up on your mat as you are and honoring whatever modifications you need in that moment or redefining self-doubt into curiosity and courage, to play and explore.
